Workshops, creative tools, and coaching for people who want to write, communicate, and live more authentically.

Rock Your Story

Hi! I’m Sarah. I believe creativity is an act of rebellion. It’s saying “yes” to what feels risky, real, and deeply your own. That’s the energy behind Rock Your Story. This is a space where we use writing, storytelling, and visual expression to break rules, push boundaries, and create something true.

With a Ph.D. in American Studies and years of teaching about identity and culture, I’ve seen how storytelling cracks us open and connects us. Whether you’re helping a child find their creative spark or reclaiming your own voice, my workshops and materials are here to help you step boldly into your story—and rock it.

In-Person Workshops

RYS in-person workshops welcome participants who are ready to rock their own story by engaging in a rebellious creative process. Whether it is through writing or the visual arts, we believe that self-discovery through creativity is open to everyone, not just a select few. RYS workshops are regularly offered on various topics relevant to storytelling in different ways. Please see the schedule for more information.
